Donovan Mitchell boasts a team-high 27.4 PPG while dishing out 6.1 assists and grabbing 4.4 rebounds per contest. But the Cavs are banged up at the moment with Evan Mobley just getting out of a walking boot as the result of a sprained ankle and Mitchell to be re-evaluated in a week after undergoing a procedure on his nasal fracture.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Western Conference: A Wide-Open Race for the Throne<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This season The Oklahoma City Thunder have surprised everyone. Under the leadership of Coach Mark Daigneault, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (30.9 PPG) has emerged as a true superstar, leading OKC to the top of the Western Conference just one-half game above both Minnesota and Denver. Jalen Williams (19.2 PPG )is a real threat from deep, averaging 44.9% from three \u2013 good enough for third-best in the Association.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Minnesota Timberwolves boast the league&#8217;s most explosive offense with Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards, but their defense remains a question mark. Rudy Gobert is good when he&#8217;s on, but poor when he&#8217;s not. Edwards, for his part, just had the dunk of the year, posterizing Utah&#8217;s John Collins in the process. \u201cIt gives me chills, man, because I always dreamed of dunking on somebody like that,\u201d Edwards said after the Wolves&#8217; victory Monday night.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Denver Nuggets will be looking to defend their title.
